Hunter Black Page 72 - Welcome Back, Hunter

I found the storytelling on this page interesting enough that I felt the urge to go back and look at the script, hoping that the layout was one that I suggested...and it was! We try to keep our panel count under control on these pages -- three is the sweet spot -- and watching Hunter change but looking at his face would have suggested more panels than we usually like to do. Besides, shifting the camera view is just more dynamic.

While I do call for a close up on Hunter's hand in Panel Two, I had no idea that his hands were going to be wrapped in bandages. I don't if Will chose the bandages in anticipation of this page or if he just did it to make the ailing Hunter appear more leprous, but having his hand bursting out of them just adds to that dynamic feeling.
