Hunter Black Page 32 - Deal Done, Time For Murder

This is pure Scott McCloud that I'm about to spout, but this page works because of Panel One. Will's rendering of Iosephus' expression is spot on -- he definitely has to think before he sets this deal in motion, because he's betraying one of his biggest clients. The rumor is that the Black Ribbon is retiring; she's no longer of much use to a guy like Iosephus, so he's down to sell her out in order to command Hunter Black's skills as an assassin. But selling someone out is a big deal -- he needs at least a beat to think about it.
Panel One is that beat. We could've added more silent panels to indicate more time spent in consideration...I didn't think Iosephus would be that introspective about the whole thing.
Gotta use the tricks built into the medium to tell your story and that's what we were trying to do here.
